About Dr. Ordona

Dr. Joseph Ordona is a chiropractor who is proud to be a member of the South Lake Medical Center team.

Joseph has been interested in the human body since a young age.  His fascination with the human body led him to UCLA where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Development Biology.  After graduating he took a position in a research lab investigating the development of chromosomal Barr bodies and their relationship to cancer predisposition.  He soon developed neck and back pain from sitting in a lab all day and sought out the services of a chiropractor.  He was amazed at how much better he felt after his first treatment and was surprised at how many aspects of his life had improved after seeing a chiropractor.

Soon afterward Joseph quit his research job and worked as a chiropractic assistant where he witnessed firsthand the healing power of touch and manual therapy.  He knew that chiropractic was how he wanted to serve others.  He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2010.

Dr. Ordona has been in practice here at SLMC since 2011 and still finds that he learns something new every day.  He invites anyone interested in relieving musculoskeletal pain and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to come learn how chiropractic can help them.
